I was referred to Mr. Berfas by a close friend after struggling in court with my ex-husband for nearly 3 years. I had previously retained the services of 2 other attorneys, both of who left me greatly dissatisfied. One was a “tough talker” who promised me results but ended up doing nothing more than racking up an exorbitant bill. The other seemed knowledgeable at first, but was almost impossible to reach and made numerous “technical errors” (i.e. not filing papers on time, etc) that hurt both my case and my pocket book. By the time I met with Mr. Berfas I was at my wit’s end and disillusioned by the entire legal system. From our first conversation, I felt extremely reassured that I had finally found a lawyer who would work tirelessly on my behalf. He was honest and reasonable and gave me a truthful assessment of my case without “sugar coating” his words or being too blunt. He came up with a detailed strategy of how he planned to approach my case in court and gave me excellent suggestions that made a huge difference in my favor. Additionally, his fees were very reasonable and my calls and inquiries were always returned on a timely basis. What I liked most about Mr. Berfas is that he doesn’t need to resort to underhanded tactics or mud slinging to get the job done. Unlike many attorneys who will instruct their clients to “play dirty”, Mr. Berfas is able to win his case on his merit as an outstanding attorney. I could not have asked for a better lawyer and have recommended him to others without hesitation.
I was going through a divorce and my ex spouse was so difficult to deal with Brad went above and beyond for me not only did he keep me informed along the way he got me a very acceptable resolution regarding the outcome of my divorce.Not only would I recommend Brad I would say it’s a must to have Brad represent you if you should ever need a lawyer overall if I was able to give more that 5 stars I would.
I had a couple of speeding tickets, brad got the first one dismissed, the second reduced in points and fines. i was thrilled with the results. ended up paying less having him take care of them overall, then fighting and paying surcharges for 3 years.

Excellent lawyer
I hired Brad Berfus to represent my son that had 10 DMV summonses. I contacted 3 other attorneys previously and they were unwilling to take his case because it would be a waste of money, there is nothing they can do, but get a settlement because that is what the court will always do. It was recommended that my son used the money to pay for his summones. Brad requested documentation that I provided and 8 summonses were dismissed. The remaining 2 were reduced by approximately 60% of the proposed fines. We are extremely grateful to Brad Berfus. Additionally, he was very responsive and moderately priced fees.

He did tons of research regarding my case, he drove all the way out to Westchester to court for me, he fixed my problem in a very timely manner, he responded to calls/texts right away, and he checked up on me during and even after my case was completed. Brad is a very thorough and competent professional who always had my best interests in mind. I was always informed and I always felt like i was in very good hands. Traffic ticket
Great experience. I’ve used him for multiple traffic tickets. Always got dismissed or much lower value. He was very reasonable. I’d recommend but if I have to use him again I’m gonna have to switch to biking to get around or avoid tickets. Lol.

I was in desperate search of a traffic lawyer after been having 9 points on my drivers license, facing an additional 7 points due to 3 tickets, I finally decided to take care of 6 months after the infraction. (lost my job, wasn’t able to make a payment, etc) I was basically facing having my license revoked. Upon a quick Google search, I was presented with a traffic lawyer who I thought was in my vicinity but was actually far out of reach so he introduced me to Brad who agreed to take on my case for a very great deal. I’ve never had to hire a “lawyer” before, so I was/kind’ve wasn’t aware how much it would cost me but he really pulled through for me and helped me out very professionally for the price we agreed on and I am VERY grateful he was able to do that for me. I had tickets for moving from a lane unsafely, following too closely and obstruction of a rear view mirror. All three were dropped from 9 points + god knows how many fines to 3, zero point parking violations. I was ecstatic and while coming up with the high fines was an issue and eventually able to be taken care of, I am very grateful Brad was able to take this case for me and really pull through. I’ll take the high fines and run over having my license taken away over TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS. Brad, I still can’t not thank you enough. Called Brad because I got pulled over. My court date was set on a day when I wouldn’t be in town. He assured me he would be there on my behalf and deal with it accordingly.
